From birth through adolescence and young adulthood, we create pathways for communication. Wherever you are along that path, we can step in and assist.
The Therapy Process
Your loved one’s care begins with an in-person diagnostic evaluation. Once completed, you will receive a full diagnostic report with clinical recommendations. Should we determine that your loved one has a need and would benefit from our services, a customized treatment plan will be developed.
Our Approach
From our first consultation, your family is part of the team that will help your child or adult learner succeed. This team approach allows us to complete a comprehensive evaluation, more effectively identify areas for growth, and develop a successful treatment plan.
We will come to you
We know that young families are busy! Home based therapy allows for maximum convenience and flexibility when it comes to scheduling services.
In today’s world, more and more services are being offered virtually. This approach may be effective for some, but for many of the individuals we serve we prefer an in-person approach. Children and individuals on the spectrum fell more secure and comfortable in familiar surroundings. Providing therapy in these settings also promotes generalization of skills and helps empower families and caregivers.
We work with your team
For individuals with communication disorders and their families, the world can be overwhelming. Teachers, school-based therapists and caregivers, offer a source of stability and calm. We understand the importance of providing continuity of care between our individual therapy and other services your loved one may be receiving. We provide one hour of consultation with other professionals, complimentary, per year. Additional consultation is available as needed.
