Heather Kiesel, M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist,
Early Intervention Specialist
Heather followed her heart and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in May 2001 and her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology in May 2003, both from East Stroudsburg University. Throughout college, her dedication to serving people with special needs grew while working one-on-one with families and children. To best serve these children, she provided in-home visits as an integral part of her treatment plans.
Her clinical experiences include working with individuals of all ages in daycares, outpatient clinics, elementary schools, private schools, inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, and directly with families and children in their homes through Chester County’s Early Intervention program. Heather has developed a specialty in birth to three-year diagnostics and treatment. Like Maryanne, she believes in a continued home-based therapeutic approach. She has provided speech and language therapy for children with various diagnoses including articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language delays and disorders, pragmatic language disorders, and autism spectrum disorders.
Heather is licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Examiners in Speech Pathology and Audiology and has earned her Certificate of Clinical Competences from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA.) Heather holds an Instructional I Teaching Certificate in Pennsylvania (Instructional I- Speech and Language Impaired PK-12.)
